Dirty Rotten Scoundrel

I was standing in the kitchen and saw a black lab in my backyard. My daughter, my dil, and I, along with my daughter's dog, Cash, hurried out the back door. The interloping dog ran to the fence and CLIMBED it...quickly.

Why would a dog go through such an effort to get into my backyard, you ask. Because our precious little baby Lulu Belle, who is not even ten months old yet, decided to become a woman dog this week.

I had no idea what those dirty rotten scoundrel boy dogs were capable of. Who knew they could actually climb fences. Now Lulu is not allowed to go outside unless one of us, along with her brother Cash, goes outside with her. After all, somebody's got to protect her honor.

Lulu can't help it she is an irresistable sexy beast. Grr, Baby, grr.
I can't imagine what an English Bulldog, black lab combo would look like, but it can't be too pretty.

Why Haven't You Blogged Lately?

Why haven't you blogged lately? That is what my daughter asked me today.

I have been busy, of course. For a 53 second peek into my super-hectic day, click on the play button below. I am apologizing in advance for being a foot wiggler.

Yeah, That's Going On The Blog

Do you see what I see? Take a "gander" at this picture and see if you can spot why I had to post it. Try to figure it out for a minute before I tell you. It's not exactly a gander. It's a duck. A female to be exact, probably with a nest of eggs somewhere. She is perfectly intact...except for the fact that she is dead and she is stuck in the car. Can you see her right there next to the license plate? Her head is hanging down, bill pointing to the ground. One of her wings is right there next to the license plate.

I don't even know what to say about the driver of this car other than what the freak is wrong with you? I can understand possibly not knowing that she is stuck in there, but how can you not know that you have hit a full grown mallard?

I was with my daughter and her friend when we saw this lovely display on a warm, sunny day. Kind of put a dark cloud over everything for the rest of the afternoon.
